How fast will I get the morning after pill?

Orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are posted the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24 and usually arrive the next day.

What happens on the pharmacist call?

A few private questions about your health and timing, so the pharmacist can supply the right medicine safely. It usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.

Which morning after pill will I get?

Levonorgestrel works up to 3 days (72 hours) after sex and ulipristal (ellaOne) works up to 5 days (120 hours). You do not need to choose: your pharmacist will pick the right one with you.

Should I take the combined pill or the mini pill?

The combined pill contains oestrogen and progestogen and needs a recent blood pressure, height and weight. The mini pill is progestogen only and needs height and weight. The mini pill often suits people who cannot take oestrogen, smokers over 35 and people who are breastfeeding. Your pharmacist will recommend what is safest for you.

Do I need to be registered with a GP?

No. The service is for adults 18 and over who are in England.

I am on the pill from my GP. Can I switch to Vivia?

Yes. Choose Repeat my pill and the pharmacist will take it from there.
